Please voice your opinion... which is the proper way to place a quilt.....
This way.. (with ties pointing upward and fuzzy side down)
or this way..... (with ties pointing down and fuzzy side up)
Thank you for your opinions. I'm sure you will all agree with me.
And Eliza wishes you all a happy Easter.

I think fuzzy side down and ties pointed up (the first picture)...the other way is just weird :D
Fuzzy down, ties up-- so the little kids can twist them in their fingers.
Happy Easter, Eliza!
Happy Easter!. Fuzzy side next to me please, ties up. Beautiful grandchildren by the way
my quilts don't always have a fuzzy side, but the ties must point out. Is that what you like too?
We want to know which crazy person thought of fuzzy side up? Is that Mike's idea?
I say fuzzy side down and ties up. that is how I sleep every night with the quilt grandma Stubbs gave me. Mike has the same quilt and he never used it tie side up - so is Mike the fuzzy down tie up person?
Yes, you are all right. I agree with picture number one and Mike agrees with picture number two. But he thinks that my quilt is made wrong, that the fuzzy side should be on the ties side, and that is the side against your body. I agree with missy, that ties should always point up.
So what about a jean quilt? Do you put the jeans on the grass or up to sit on? Which side do the ties go on a jean quilt?
ties up. i guess so they don't poke you. but also because you'd want the fuzzy side on you. plus, the ties tend to be on the decorative side, which would be up.
as for denim quilts. it would make sense to have the denim down, because grass wouldn't stick to it like it would flannel and cotton. but it seems like everyone does denim up. and ties up. i saved jeans for years to make into a denim quilt and finally gave them to goodwill.
Definitely fuzzy side down! And the denim quilt...put the denim on the grass, or put a non-fuzzy back on it.
fuzzy side down, ties go on the not fuzzy side, at least that is how my grandma made them.
Did you see that you won on my blog? Go check it out.
