I have missed blogging about quite a bit in the past month. My family Christmas party, 10 yr anniversary trip to St George, Christmas, Cross Country skiing, New Years, Mike's birthday... blah blah blah. But there is something important on my mind that I need to discuss and get some opinions about. Side-ponytails. Really? Are they back in? I don't know if I should embrace the hairstyle of my youth or mock it. What is your vote?
Here is one picture from our recent excursion to the state capitol in Boise. Our kids were little nightmares for the whole trip but our hosts were kind and patient with us! Thanks guys.

Side pony tails .. for kids definately back. for me... not happening. My Brookie rarely leaves the house with out a side bun or pony these days.
MaKell is all about the side ponytail. It probably has to do we her watching Napoleon Dynamite one to many times.

I agree with everyone...for my girls, sure, me? not so much. I tried to wear a stylish low side pony a couple of years ago and I was mocked and made fun of so that was the end of that.
I agree with everyone else. For my daughter, yes. For me, not so much. Although I have sported a low, simple one just around the house a few times. :)

Well, you look fabulous in one. I guess I'm way out of the loop because I didn't even notice they were back for little girls! I'm the last person you would want to consult for fashion advice...
I've been wondering the same thing. You look great with a side pony. I tried one the other day and the results were not as impressive.
You can work that side ponytail Wendy!! :) The only thing missing is the big 'brick' bangs......I hope I wasn't the onlly one that had those!
You rock that side ponytail! After reading this post I'm realizing just how many of the girls at the junior high do their hair on the side.
Well as a general rule, I think I may stay in Sweden until side ponies go away again, but you DO look cute. And why are little children just so immature?
I've been out of town so I missed out on this whole thing. You look good with the side pony tail but then I have almost always had short hair so my advise may not be so great. And I recognize those little kids at the capitol door. I'm glad to know my grandkids are going back to terrorize the Idaho capitol building. Their grandpa use to do it frequently. Must be in the genes.
I think a messy/curly side tails looks OK. I do whatever I feel like at moments cute or not I suppose. You look great in your photo.
I like yours, but in general when I see a side ponytail I think, "ditsy and vain" I know that is really close minded, but that's what comes to mind. It might be because all the girls I have seen on campus with side ponytails usually annoy me in class.
Kennedy wore a side ponytail once and looked cute, but she mostly just likes one in the back. Me, I'm more into braids these days, although that's probably not any better. :)
